VIP Day (Jennifer Kowalski and Peg Chaidez)- Recommended that one 7th and one 8th grade parent are chairs. Coordinates with the 8th grade teachers for this celebration. Snacks and coffee are organized by the chairs. Volunteers are needed for snacks and “day-of” tasks.

Eighth Grade Dance (Sarah Dunn and Nikki Heiling)- Coordinates with dance lesson company for the classes that run through a select number of Friday nights in the winter for the eighth graders. Chair sets communication with the families for sign up, payment and volunteers. 

 

Eighth Grade Promotion Event (Cheri Paladino)- Coordinates with yacht company for the Chicago cruise that scheduled near the end of the school year for the eighth graders. Chair sets communication with the families for sign up and payment.

 

Career Day (Not needed in 2017)- Helps with getting volunteers for the eighth grade career day field trip. Teachers plan and execute the day. This chair only is responsible for getting a list of names of available eighth grade parents. This field trip is in the spring.
